Myrtle Beach Fishing Company – Merchant Policy
1. General Overview
Myrtle Beach Fishing Company provides youth fishing camps, outdoor skill-building programs, guided fishing experiences, and related services. All registrations, purchases, and transactions made through our Square checkout are subject to the policies below.
2. Payment Policy
Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure a camper’s spot. Spaces for our camps are extremely limited, and reservations are confirmed only once payment has been processed successfully.
We accept the following payment methods:
Major credit and debit cards
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Square Gift Cards (if applicable)
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Because our camps have limited capacity and require advance staffing, planning, and supply purchases, all sales are considered final. However, we understand that unexpected situations can arise.
Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Customer-Initiated Cancellations:
14+ days prior to camp start: 50% refund OR 100% credit toward a future camp (customer choice).
7–13 days prior: 50% credit toward a future camp (no refunds).
Less than 7 days: No refunds or credits are available.
No-Shows:
Campers who do not attend without notice will not receive a refund or credit.
Company-Initiated Cancellations:
In the rare event Myrtle Beach Fishing Company must cancel a camp or session due to severe weather, safety concerns, or unexpected operational issues, customers will receive:
A full refund or
The option to transfer to a future camp date (based on availability).
4. Weather Policy
Our programs take place outdoors and will run in most weather conditions. Sessions may continue in light rain, overcast conditions, warm temperatures, or minor weather fluctuations.
We will pause or cancel activities only in cases of:
Lightning or thunderstorms
Flooding
Extreme winds
Unsafe conditions determined by staff
Make-up sessions may be offered when possible but are not guaranteed.
5. Age Requirements
Campers must meet the published age requirements for each program at the time of camp start.
For the Spring Break River Island Camp, participants must be ages 10–17.
6. Safety & Behavior Policy
All campers are expected to follow staff instructions, safety guidelines, and respectful behavior standards. Myrtle Beach Fishing Company reserves the right to remove a camper from the program without refund if their behavior jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of others.
7. Liability Waiver
All participants must have a signed liability waiver and media release on file prior to attending any camp or trip. This will be sent digitally upon registration.
Campers cannot participate without a completed waiver.
8. Medical Conditions & Special Needs
Parents/guardians must inform Myrtle Beach Fishing Company of any medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral considerations relevant to camper safety.
We will do our best to accommodate reasonable needs, but certain conditions may require parent participation or alternative arrangements.
